I thought we had this topic... but I cannot seem to find out.   However... based on several events since last year including 1st part Game IPs being pushed to new consoles, How much life does the Xbox have in it?  How do you see it evolving in the future... if there is a future for the Xbox?

One Topic that feed directly into this conversation... Costco is no longer selling the Xbox.  Other stores have followed along from what I understand.  Link is in the text for the CDG topic.

When the Xbox Series X was being released... Forbes mentioned it had an advantage that other Consoles didn't have.  Topic below to visit:

In my opinion... some of the bigger news was Gears of War: Reloaded and Halo: Campaign Evolved making it over to the Sony PlayStation 5.  Both of those topics are linked here.  These announcements literally blew my mind... and it was very hard to believe it was happening with these 2 IPs.

Make sure to post also up in the post your favorite Xbox Memories thread as well!

So... here we are... this is an interesting time in history. We've been here before with other consoles and companies in the past... but this is a much much different time in history.  I would say it's unlike anything we have seen in the past.

Thoughts, Comments... post it up!

Possibly as a console but just evolving into something different. I think they are concentrating on cloud and other ways to play using Xbox live which might be smart considering the rising hardware prices due to AI. There are so many other ways to play Xbox live now and making a console starts them in such a deep financial hole that it is questionable if it is truly worth it anymore. Production cost this time around will be astronomical and I think that they see Steam as the blueprint for the future of Xbox. Xbox live is playable on just about anything at this point and they are building bridges to PlayStation and Nintendo because the want it there too.
