Does anybody here play Quake Champions? I've had it for a while now and it is incredibly fun, especially if you like fast paced competitive shooters. It's completely free to play now so if you're interested you should definitely check it out! Add me and we can shred online.

@Jack I am seriously considering this game right now.   I like the Unreal Tournament and Quake Tournament style games.

I thought I saw this for $5 on the steam sale?  It's free?  Maybe I'm thinking of a different game.  If it's free... I'll get it.  I'm sure @Grindspine would be very interested in it as well.

@Jack  - Is Multiplayer still active?  If so... we should try out a few multiplayer games with @CreepinDeth .  I probably haven't played this games since 2016.

[Post Competition]

Just a reminder - There are 2 competitions going on.  Prizes are up for grabs!

@Grindspine Those Mega Man X games were rough.  ... I know what you mean. I didn't get a lot of time in with X2 and X3, but enough to get get a smack down.  I have more experience with X4.  I still have that version for the Saturn.

@Grindspine yeah... I played a few Comp Stomps the other day to start getting my game back.  I don't think I've played since we quit.

We will have to have StarCraft 2 games at some point...

@Grindspine .... weird... we've had a few of those pop up lately.  I'm thinking some of the security is being over zealous... I already have a host ticket open for another one I was encountering.  Let me know if you can get in from this email.  If it's cool, I'd like to test with  you a little on that to I can report it to the host - might be a config issue.

Oh man... they have been good this year.  We went through 10 Lbs in 1 week....... 

I just finished my lunch - which was turkey, whole avocado, arugula, celery, and a low carb tortilla instead of bread.  I also ate some carrots...  BUT:

I'm craving steamed dumplings right now.... I think I'm going to go get some.

I think not including a charger is such a BS move by Nintendo.

You are not wrong @Jack  it's pretty amazing they don't.  That would suck for 1st time buyers.

It appears the adapter offering on the amazon page is the AmazonBasics brand adapter.

I want The SNES 3DS... but still thinking I'm going to let it go.  The struggle is real.

hey... I say... why Not make a Kirby Movie / Cartoon in the light of the Angry Birds Movie.  I think it is do-able.

The Legend of Zelda could be pulled off well - maybe in the light of Avatar the Last Airbender.

Star Fox is a great idea imo - could even make it Solo / Star Wars styled.

If you missed it during prime day ... you have a chance to get it again.  This time the Charger does cost extra... whereas it was free on Prime Day.

@NoGame welcome to the forums - feel free to post up in any topic. We are glad to have you 

well... I wanted to play something today and was hoping to do so tonight.  The gaming laptop PC I bought - Dell G5 15" - D keyboard key fell off. LOL.  sigh. (I'll do a topic on the laptop later)  So... instead of sending it in... I talked Dell to send me a keyboard. I Cannot believe they did this for me.  I used to be Dell certified a few years back (don't need that as much anymore) - so ... I had to get the serial number off the keyboard in order for them to send me a new one.  70 screws later... laptop on bricks... I got it.

So... new KB coming soon. and gaming once it's replaced.

I bought the laptop to tide me over for 2-3 years until I build a new pc.

If any of you are fans of the original two Turok games on N64, you should DEFINITELY check out the remastered versions on Steam. I think they go for about $20 each and it is absolutely worth it. They tweaked it just enough to keep the core gameplay the same but fluid enough to run beautifully on modern rigs.

Since you've played them... I take it they work well with Keyboard and mouse?  And there's a significant graphics improvement?

I have played one night with Spartan and MasterMario, but need to revisit the game.

@Grindspine yeah... we all need to play a couple rounds together.  After playing FortNite for awhile... parachuting down in PUBG is difficult lol.  It is totally different. The last time I played... I TOTALLY missed any landing target I was going for - BY A LONG distance.

@Jack Is the necro worth buying?   

Maybe I'll run a quick current season monk.  I have one at level 11-14. I would be willing to restart. Thinking about playing tomorrow night... I'll message everyone to see if we can get a few together if so.

Looking to start a gaming night - maybe once every 2 weeks at 1st.   I know  a lot of us are pretty busy right now... but thinking of ways to get more of us gaming together.


We've kicked around ideas about Diablo 3, Rekindling Left for Dead 2, and a couple others.   

This would be posted / scheduled on the board... and posted in the steam group and other platforms.  Communications would be done via our discord group.

Thoughts?   Availability?   Looking to MAYBE do this on Sunday evenings... though may need to rotate days.  Just kicking this around now.  Post it up!

I know... I agree with everyone else.  I was PLEASANTLY surprised at this movie.  They did such a great job.  I have to say... there have been A LOT of great movies this year... and more I ended up opting to just rent later on to save money.  There definitely were others I wanted to see.

@CreepinDeth and @targetrasp   - Did you end up getting one of these?  2 months later... what are your opinions?

Did anyone else get one?  If you did... post up your experiences.

@retro junkie Wow... I didn't realize this existed!  Very nice review - This is very cool.   The screen looks very clear - I am very impressed by it.   And the portability lol... a little larger than the Atari Lynx... the Lynx was no slouch device size.  But to have something like this for the NES is pretty cool.  I've seen another device, but cannot remember the name of it at this time.  It was a few number of years back.  Though the screen didn't look as nice as the Gamerz Tek 8-Bit Boy.  I'm also glad to read that it's good in the sound department.   Mobile / handheld devices are getting better and better as small scale speaker technology progresses.

Great review Retro Junkie -    ... we need thumbs up Emoticons.  I will get on that.

Also, if you have a chance...  I suggest providing a link to the company's website.

I'd probably be willing to play if I had other people to play with. I got to like level 23 or so when the game first released and got bored with it because I had nobody to play with.

@Kinikko I'm thinking about getting it on the next GOOD sale.  I think @Grindspine picked this title up recently and has been playing with @mastermario and @SpartanEvolved.  Maybe we can get everyone playing.

lol... @Grindspine  - ok.    Maybe tomorrow.  I'll see if I can get something moving tomorrow on this.   I'll post in the Multiplayer gaming section to see if we can move this forward.

@Jack - I saw that... it has been going on a bit.  It would be cool to run up a character though.  Not sure which one to do yet.

@targetrasp Well... my plate is numbered to 40,000... so there has to be at least that many.  I will write a full on review soon with pictures.  The metal case is cool, but not exactly what I had in mind and the manual doesn't fit in that case.  Still pretty cool and the extras are pretty cool for what I've seen in some collectors editions.

mine came early, it's still wrapped though...

I don't think there was a lot of hype about this game so i'm guessing there's not going to be a ton of them made. I may keep this copy intact and wait to find a used copy at a game store, or watch them go on sale for cheap somewhere.

Dude, I eat peanut butter and honey sandwiches all the time. It's my go to when I'm craving something sweet.

@Jack LOL... I know... it's amazing.  They are my go to if I need to do sports or high intensity workouts after work.  I eat one about 2 hours ahead of time.  Boom... They are perfect and decent for you too. 


@Kinikko - that sounds really good... They aren't dry...etc?  Air Fry makes me thing the food would be dried out more.

BANANA for me... and peaches are really good right now.

I have a Twitter account for my stagnated YouTube channel. I don't really use it. That may change when I start making videos again, but I might have to make a new Titter account for that. I've thought of making a personal account as well. I just don't know if I would really use it.
