I had a weird thing happen with my Vita today.  I was switching between games and was trying to set the automatic upload for game data.  The screen wouldn't allow me to select certain things... it's like the touchscreen wasn't responding and was jumping everywhere. The touch controls on the back of the system were also causing the game menus in the main screen to jump everywhere.   This evolved further where I couldn't get out of the menus or select anything... and the menus just kept jumping around.

I couldn't power off the system because I couldn't select the power off button lol  ???   I corrected this by pressing power and the system screen turned off.  I was then miraculously able to hold the power where it gave me the power off button again where it allowed me to power off (screen was still acting funny).  Once the console rebooted, everything was right.

Has any one else experienced this?

Hey @retro junkie  --> high five on an amazing post!  Low Five on me not posting in this post forever.

This is a pretty cool looking system.  Seriously... where do you find this stuff? lol  ;D

Ok... the screen really looks better than the Nomad?  What about control feels compared to the Nomad?  My guess is that it is thinner and battery last longer than the Nomad for sure.  Thoughts on the sound compared to Nomad (I read the part about 1 speaker and headphones are a must)?

Awesome - it will be cool to see your follow-up!

lol AliExpress gives me nightmares.  It feels like the dark alley you just need to stay away from at all costs.   You know that sinking and bad feeling you got standing in a parking lot at night??  That's AliExpress LOL.   It might not be that bad... but... it gives me pause.

lol.. Mario's black-eye?

Honestly, I had a hard time getting into it at 1st. I bought it pretty close to release if not on release.  I ended up liking and enjoying the game but not at 1st.  I remember the water effects were really cool and were a draw to this game.  The music was pretty rememberable as well.

Necro bumping @retro junkie - that's a pretty large difference in distance.  I wonder why they did that.

Also crazy... Blockbuster had a rental only release that was not available anywhere else.  I cannot recall any other titles like this.  It's also crazy the amount of pull Blockbuster had to make this a reality lol.  But... why would they change the game from the Japanese version.  Outside translations, that would take other code changes as well.

lol @retro junkie but... this other phone is foldable!  Think about all the awesome stuff you could do with it!

I get what you mean.  I use mine for a lot of note taking and other things as well... including review documents and activities that go along with that.  This would be pretty handy... however, $2000 is extremely salty.  This is where I probably won't buy in because there are so many other uses for that money.

This game still seems to be on track for September 30, 2025 release.   Pumped for it to be released on physical media.   Checking in, is anyone else excited for this game?

Yeah... many true points there.   If you're keeping up on your updates, and the updates for that distro are current and supported, you should be OK security wise.

checking in - How has your 2012 MacBook Pro been running?

Nice!  Rocky has probably become my favorite distribution at this point.   I gravitated more towards the Fedora based distros for some reason... not really sure why.  They just felt more usable to me... obviously, that's not the case.  It's also odd because I started with Ubuntu (outside the other enterprise IBM AIX and other Unix / Linux variants).  I heavily went to CentOS and Amazon Linux in the cloud.  Rocky feels pretty good.
